The management team of Solupay has worked hard over the past 12 years to provide complete turnkey credit and debit card processing solutions to over 6000 restaurants nationwide. In many cases our merchants had a strong desire to improve their speed-of-service by reducing transaction times with the implementation of high-speed DSL/ Cable,  frame relay, VPN, and/or satellite communications. Authorization times for our merchants have been drastically reduced from 8 - 12 seconds down to 2 – 3 seconds.

Solupay has taken a different approach in the provisioning of card processing services to the restaurant industry. A clear focus on providing the “total” solution is present in  reducing the overall cost of processing. As opposed to keying transactions twice on a stand-alone dial terminal, we strive to integrate locations and manage this process with their POS company and/or dealer.

Our experience has enabled us to build very strong relationships with the majority of the POS companies selling to the restaurant industry. These include, but are not limited to, NextPOS, Micros, Aloha, Infogenesis, Squirrel, POS-i-Touch, Digital Dining, just to name a few. In the event, that a restaurant elects to remain in a stand-alone environment, we simply reprogram the terminal at no additional charge or can upgrade to a high speed terminal, while  keeping the cost of ownership to a minimum.

Each POS system has unique characteristics and offers multiple payments middleware applications like Go Software(PC Charge), Shift 4, and Southern Data Comm(Protobase) or these systems simply provide their own middleware application. With various options, many times the dealer and restaurant will need to make a decision on the best long-term solution for their company. Solupay will assist in the decision-making process to ensure that the most appropriate solution is selected.

In summary, Solupay believes that building strong partnerships with the POS companies, middleware  and network connectivity providers is the only way to implement and provide “best in class” support to our clients. As such, Solupay works with each entity on all set-ups as well as problem resolution without leaving our restaurant clients to solve these issues on their own.
